Ok-I should know this BUT, do not. I have points 2015, used most of my points 2016, and want to make a reservation Jan 3-6 2016. I'm thinking I need to pay a fee to roll over points to the next year, but not sure if I can do that yet. I'm probably not going to use the (few) 2015 points this year. Please help me out.

You will need to rescue your points from 2015 into 2016 prior to your reservation or it will pull all the points from 2016 and leave your 2015 points intact. You can do it online and I think the fee is $99. I hope that helps!

Best,

Greg

At any point in 2015, you can pay to bank your 2015 points to 2016.

The other online option called points protection does it automatically for you in mid December. It actually costs a little more to use that. So, if you know you won't be using 2015 points in 2015, you are better off banking them as soon as you know you aren't going to use them.

ETA: This just came in my email:

Save Your Remaining 2015 Points
Don't lose your Points! Now is the time to save your remaining 2015 ClubPoints before they expire at the end of the year. For a limited time, you'll receive a discount when you rescue your Points online. Do it now before this special offer ends.
