I bought a sdo platinum float weeks 1-52 2 bedroom lockoff on resale, is there a way for me to know how many staroptions it is worth if i retro it by looking at the deed? Ex, if the deeded week is between 1-21 or 50-52 would it be worth 148k if retroed and if is between 22-27 or 36-49 then it would be worth 81k if retroed?

if it floats as 1-52, of course with an actual week deeded to it then it would be worth 81000 staroptions if retroed.

if you purchased a true platinum week it would have a higher staroption value at 148100. then it was an original starwood week.

i own both types, and the staroptions are considerably less for the 1-52 weeks.

thanks denise, that thread helps tons! You are encyclopedia starwood, my unit number doesn't look like any of those numbers, it is 1033334 based on what the contract says, does that make sense?

Have you been able to get a copy of the original deed? These are publicly available on the county recorders' site. It should list the unit numbers on the deed. From what I know, units are four numbers, maybe yours is 1033 and 1034 (???) since it is essentially two units. There could be an extra "3" in there?
