I keep my iphones too long apparently, these trade in programs offer very little so I just keep the phones. The latest was a 6s I upgraded to the new 2020 iphone SE, the offer was $35.

I use them as music players all over the house. A 4s in the bathroom on a speaker clock, a 6 in the bedroom on a speaker clock and a 6s in the kitchen on a Bose speaker. Hooked up to wifi streaming Amazon Music.

I, too, keep cell phones too long to be worth anything for trade in. I just bought a new one (Samsung Note 9) and my old phone (Samsung Note 4) is worth something on ebay but not much.

Enjoy your Note 9 - the S pen is amazing.
