I have 4 tickets to a show that I am now considering selling because the whole planning process is getting so difficult. Getting everyone to agree on flights, sleeping arrangements, etc...I think getting rid of the tickets would be the easiest way out. Any recommendations of how to best go about this..

Tickets in General

If it is a popular show try Stub Hub. Craigslist is also an option.

I just read an article about Vegas shows that says less 20% of the house pays face value for tickets to most Vegas shows. The article goes on to say that 1/2 price is the real face value and it's less than 1/2 price where the real deals are.

Be realistic in setting your price as once the show starts the tickets are worth 0.

I have had to give away tickets to Sting, Bruce Springsteen, and Grateful Dead concerts in the past. You can really make someone's day.

I have also used ebay to sell tickets.

A gentle note - readers, please don't ask the OP to post the info. on TUG, since this would violate our posting rules. Private messages are your friend!

Yeah, I'd go Ebay if you want to get rid of them quickly. I've also had success using http://rocknrolltickets.com which is part of a huge ticket network. Usually you can sell them for more than you would on ebay. But if the event is really close to happening go Ebay

Hope that helps.
