how to request a reservation for a French restaurant

WE have had a recommendation for a good small Paris restaurant and I don't know how to request a reservation (they say it must be done well in advance). I don't like to make phone calls in English (!) so a call in baby French to the restaurant is not in the cards. WE will be staying at the Royal Regency and I don't see any way to contact the location to ask for help (the email address is apparently for the general diamond office. Has anyone found a way to make such a reservation?

Do a Google search to see if the restaurant has website (many do).
If you find it, there's likely a contact/reservation page, or an e-mail address.
There may be an English option (or British flag link). If not, R-click in Chrome for a translation.

If the restaurant is so much in demand, I'm pretty sure that whoever answers the phone will speak English, and two or three other languages.
