Hello. I have a points timeshare (not a fixed week) with Holiday Inn Club Vacations (IHG) and often have leftover points that will expire. Is there a way to rent or sell points to someone else? I have about 40K points that will expire at the end of this year. Thanks!

40,000 PT's are not going to get you much in the HICV sytem. You could rent, you need find somebody that could use it, you just add the name of the guest on your reservation. Come up ewith a price.
You can extend the PT's for 6 months or you can book a stay for the next year thru RCI

Learn the owners guide like the back of your hand to utilize what you have.
Renting is tricky, you can profit from it but you need to put some thought into it. The right weeks @ the right location can make you some money. Those weeks book up at the 10 month window so you need to plan.

Problem with what your trying to do when you figure out you have extra PT's that are going to expire it's to late to book anything for profit.

Think this way
When the kids are out of school vacation procing are at its peek times for the most part.
Other things to take into consideration are like fall foliage like say Gatlinburg , or Vermont. Kids are in school but it's a very busy time for travel because the weather is still good and the view is awesome!
