This article has a lot of good information. I especially liked the last one about what to do if you lose your child. There are some really helpful hints at the end such as taking a picture of your child on your phone as you start off your day at a theme park or wherever so that you'll know exactly what their are wearing.

What if you want to lose your kid?
We always took pictures of the kids before we left for a the parks at WDW. We also made them carry a whistle and told them to blow it if they got lost. Its easier to hear over the 4 million kids calling "mommy, daddy"" Now they have cell phones, we just call them if "We" get lost.
