People do not trust Craigslist anymore. I haven't gotten a rental for our ski weeks in years. It's too bad because I did get a lot of repeat renters that way, a lot are CO residents who saw my ads. Now I don't get any inquiries, even though I advertise consistently.
It's strange that people are so mistrusting of DIY ads on Redweek as well. I get inquiries, I answer right away, and I am unsuccessful.
Craigslist has too many kooks that will flag off your ads, and too many scammers that will reply and then try to use your reservation for fake ads. The kooks think you should only advertise in the location of the TS, like how many people in Orlando look for an Orlando vacation? If you try listing in several locations the system will flag you off as a spammer. If you try to get help in the Flag Help forum the kooks will heap abuse on you.
Same with Facebook Marketplace, full of scammers.
Better to stick with TUG Marketplace, Koala, or Redweek.

Actually, one of Craig's List's principles is that it desires a hand-to-hand transfer. It's not just the kooks, who are abominable.
Like many others, I gave up on Craig's List years ago. My timeshare rental listings were getting flagged within minutes of being posted because they were not in my local area. It happened way too quickly to be blamed on the trolls in their Moms' basements.
@TUGBrian, would you consider updating the "How to Sell Your Timeshare" sticky that indicates that Craiglist is great way to advertise and possibly unload a timeshare? This thread would indicate that things have changed and that it's not such great idea anymore.
Reading through most of the replies here, it seems everyone is talking about issues related to renting their timeshare weeks. Craigslist is terrible for that and there have been reports of listings being flagged and removed. This may not be the same as trying to sell or give away a timeshare week.
Here is a great YouTube video with a lot of suggestions on how to get rid of a timeshare. Many that I never would have even thought of.

One of the reasons listings are being flagged and removed is that buyer and seller are not close enough to do a "hand-to-hand" transfer. If that is the principle reason, selling or giving away a timeshare would fare no better than renting.
I have a couple of for sale listings. I'll try to put them on Craig's List and see what happens.
Edit: I listed two Wyndham Royal Vista contracts for sale on Craig's List. They're still up (9:45 AM, February 5). Craig's List has no category for timeshare sales. After picking the location (South Florida, Broward County), I ended up using General as the category. It's clear that Craig's List is geared toward selling personal property and actual real estate.
Years ago I gave away two timeshares by listing them on Craigslist for the state they are located in. My listings weren't flagged, but obviously things have changed.
