How to go about this? Late Deposit!

I have a late deposit that I need to use in the next few months. Last night I was on interval's website looking at places to go within the 59 day window. I found something of interest but wanted to check airline ticket prices for the various dates given. By the time I figured this out the date that was the best for us was gone. Is there a way to work it so I can keep the dates "reserved" till I check out airline prices. I thought I worked fairly quickly but I guess not. Thanks for any suggestions. In this economy we don't want to loose the week but we don't want to pay high airline ticket prices either. Thanks:)

You can cancel any reservation within 24 hours. I would suggest reserving it through II and if you are unable to get the flights you desire, call II and cancel within 24 hours.

Thank you. I assume there is no fee to cancel. Seems there are fees for everything. Thanks.

Just make sure you do it within 24 hours, keeping in mind that you must call II and they must be open, so your actual cancellation window may be less.

You can also call II and they will hold it for you for a few hours - I forget exactly how many, but still enough to check on airfares.
