So now I have to deposit 320,000 points into RCI. I already have 2 weeks with RCI that never turn up anything. Is there a secret to depositing a certain way to get the best trading power with RCI? I am not a fan of RCI since they don't bring up some resort systems I like--i.e. Marriott for example. I am going to call today to see what I can do. Thanks for any help!! I appreciate you!

Club Wyndham points in RCI as I understand it is size specific supposedly they have the highest trading power if you own a fixed in Wyndham they give you a TPI number per week they are all different. It’s kind of like an RCI points account.

I had to put points into RCI last year. I just keep checking every so often and look out on the calendar. Last year I booked a week on HHI, a couple of weeks at Pagosa for my son and Thanksgiving week at Morritt's Grand for us. Also booked Grand Cayman again for this year.

I'm not familiar with trading weeks, but for using Wyndham points putting in on-going searches are the key to getting something you want.

I would love to trade my resort in Kauai (Hanalei Bay Resort) Gold Crown for a Gold Crown Wyndham in Oahu if you are interested. :). I have already booked for next year June 7-14 and it is a great unit close to the pool and main tennis courts, hot tub, and restaurant. 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, Full kitchen and so much more. Check it out.

If you own Developer, you can book at 10 months out exactly and get some great options in RCI Points. I do that a lot. It's pricey to use, but I did get a week at Sands of Kahana in a 3 bedroom for President's Week, 2/15-2/22, 300,000 points plus the ridiculous exchange fee of $299. Still a bargain for SOK 3 bedroom.

On the original question - there is no strategy for depositing for the highest trade power. Wyndham points into RCI is a straight forward exchange: a set price for a unit size in a specific season. Inventory constantly changes in RCI - you need to keep looking, and don't plan on getting "unicorns" in RCI (like Aruba in February).

if you already have "2 weeks" - are those fixed weeks? they trade differently than "depositing points".
