I am new to timeshare and exchange. From I what red on TUG, some timeshares get AC when deposit with II and RCI. I own wyndham at Kona and sheraton at vistana, both 2 bedroom flex wk 1-52. Do they get AC? Do I need to deposit at a particular wk to increase chance of exchange and AC? if so, which weeks?

RCI no longer offers bonus weeks. Even when they did, they weren't particularly useful.

I'll let folks who understand II better comment on that. I only have fixed weeks, so either they are offered, or they are not.

Starwood resorts do not get AC's when deposited with II. However, their real strength lies in the fact that all Starwood resorts have a 3 day priority for other Starwood resorts. That means that you can trade into the more popular resorts, especially Hawaii and Cancun, with a less expensive week like Sheraton Vistana. For complete details, see the Starwood and II Article, at the top of the Starwood Board, in Owner Resources.

Both my TSs are float weeks that I can reserve Sept 1st of the prior year. I call II before reserving to see if the resort is eligable for an AC. They tell me yes and what weeks are eligable. (example - my Kings Creek is only summer) So, I book that week - give to II can get my AC.
