Hello:

I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a lender who will finance a timeshare?

I do not want a home equity loan. A personal loan ? or other option.

Only buy what you can pay cash for. Go the resale route. Timeshares from a developer are overpriced at least 50% for their marketing expenses. Timeshares are not a real estate investment and when you sell, will get pennies for the dollar if you bought from developer.

Gmoyer- I believe Tammac financial will finance a timeshare. That said if you buy resale and buy smart, you can get a terrific property for under $1,000
or even less if you are very patient. From now until December it will be an even better buyer's market as maint. fees come due.

Pay cash, or get a personal loan and pay off in 1 year. I had to take the personal loan for 12 months and it was resale. I know many don't suggest it but its what I did.

I believe First Again is the name of the company that was recommended by timeshare owners in Timesharing Today.
