I don't really follow the thought that there's a significance to the member number, which is an account level attribute, to the status of any individual contracts within the account as resale or developer for the source. The member number (or account number) doesn't change when contracts come or go and the contract numbers don't change when they are transferred in a resale transaction (as evidenced by the contract number listings in the estoppels Wyndham provides). There used to be a fault in the system that long predated my ownership where certain contract numbers retained developer status after a transfer, but I understand that was also fixed before I got into Wyndham. As a hybrid owner, I would only look at the individual contracts in my account are listed (which now includes developer or resale labels) in order to try to figure out if they are developer or resale sourced, looking up my member number doesn't seem to me to be something that would help me in any way in trying to figure out the individual contract status.

There really is no difference to me. I've run into sales and VC who have looked at/heard the number and assumed resale. Along with that assumption has come an attitude that I've seen shift once they see VIPP on the full account. It humors me.
