What happen if a relief pitcher is really having a bad day and gives up three (3) consecutive home runs or three consecutive extra base hits.

Then he's pitched to his required 3 batters and can be sent to the showers.

I like anything that helps speed up the game. If I had my way they would outlaw batters getting out of the batting box and their batting gloves after every pitch. Heck we didn't even have batting gloves when I played...

I suggest these things to make baseball more interesting:
Putting sand traps and water hazards in the outfield, with
alligators, and the tackling of runners between the bases.

Wouldn't it just be easier to have a very short time limit on changing pitchers. If they are not warmed up it is the manager's problem.
