I finally got my power back a few hours ago, having lost it for 2 1/2 days.

I had no power, no WATER (on a well), no internet, no landline, and no way to charge cell phone(s).
We have a SMALL woodstove, we were chopping up old logs, melting snow, etc. It makes you feel like
a pioneer for a while---then it gets OLD!!!

Have others lost power?

That snow was perhaps the HEAVIEST I have ever seen----the trees and lines simply couldn't withstand it.
In some respects it was worse than the ICE STORM of '98.

At 10:15 this morning, it finally become HAPPY EASTER!

Must be a Maine thing. Pretty spring-like here. Dafs and tulips up, fruit trees in bloom. A little cool and breezy- light jacket weather, seasonal, I'd say. Sorry for the Spring snow storm. This too will pass.

#1 Cowboys Fan, I am very happy you are safe and life is gradually returning in your part of Maine. Please keep all that snow in Maine. When we received more than five (5) inches of snow in Tidewater Virginia everything shut down and every item in a grocery are completely sold oit.

Today in Southeastern Virginia we have a tornado watch until noon today.
