If you book a 2 week stay, how many HK credits is that? 2? 1? Is it still 1 HK charge for up to 7 days? then an additional? thanks!

I would expect 2.

Edit - I stand corrected, from the website:

"Pro Tips:
• One (1) Housekeeping Credit is required per reservation, along with your points, regardless of length of stay or suite size and are deducted from the Use Year in which travel occurs."

If I remember correctly the reason it is one HK per stay is due to the cleaning required after you vacate the unit, so length of stay would be immaterial.

But until recently you wold have been charged a second HK fee for anything beyond 7 days.

Which may be a good thing for me personally as I have been making two week bookings lately more than I ever did in the past. I have one coming up on January 17th that I originally made back in August. Also if you make a one week booking and then want add up to three days at the end (if available), no additional HK fees would be needed. That is something I've wanted to do once or twice but didn't because I wanted to conserve the HK's that I had available.

I still wish they would just copy the Worldmark model for additional housekeeping costs and charge you by unit size once you go over your allotted amount. It would allow for more last minute smaller sized units to be used up.

On short stays the use of Bonus time is cheaper then paying maintenace fees on the credits required to book reservation. Also no HK fee required to book bonus time.

I know....but Club Wyndham doesn't have cash stays.

Exactly my point. Wyndham could offer cash rentals to owners, at a competitive price, if they wanted to limit mega renters abuse of their system.

Housekeeping issue: Being VIPP housekeeping credits are free for us. I assume for four consecutive 14 night reservations at one resort Wyndham provides the resort funds for fours housekeeping/cleanings. If the resort is receiving funds to clean a unit I feel our unit should be cleaned every 14 days, meaning cleaned three times while we are checked into the unit and once after we checkout. Housekeeping won’t enter a unit until occupants checkout, but will provide clean towels and sheets. I would like the carpets vacuumed and at the very least, cleaning supplies so we can clean the bathrooms. But COVID is the excuse for not entering occupied units, even if we vacate the unit so it can be cleaned.

We spend 5 to 6 months a year as snowbirds during the winter months in Florida at Wyndham Resorts. Next year I’m going to ask to be moved to a different unit every 14 days if the COVID housekeeping policy is still in place.

Because before recently, there would have been a clean at the end of your first week.

One house keeping credit per reservation. If you book one, 14 night reservation it’s one HK. If you book two reservations totaling 14 nights it’s two HKs.
