How Many Gills in a Cubic Dekameter?

Change can be difficult, half of my work is in metric, about half in imperial units, I believe that if we have two languages, which we do, we can certainly have two number systems, most of the world uses metric.
It is simplier by far!

The prof in my water resources class one time asked to calculate a stream flow in cubic furlongs per fortnight.

Even after 20 years I need to work my carefully through mass and heat transfer situations that involve mixed units, because pounds and kilograms are not the same units.

(Pounds are force; kilograms are mass.)
