Does anyone know why the Royal Islander Studio list that it only sleeps 2 people. It has 2 double beds in the room, which should be able to sleep 4. Why do they only list it as 2?

Cuz as u said: 2 double beds / full size...One for u and one for whomever....It also has a small fridge and micro.. If u wanna squeeze in another person; it's up to u..BUT I think the advertisement works.. Royal Islander is not a MOTEL 6

The Royal Resorts only likes 2 adults in their lock offs. They will allow 2 adults and a child under the age of approximately 12. If you put other adults in there the maid will tell the front desk and there are extra charges.

In Fiesta Americana, studio is for 2 adults and 2 kids under 12, last year they started to put a wrist band at check in, but they still being very flexible, even with 4 adults. I think for most resorts in Cancun the wrist band is mandatory.

Wrist bands for what? The Royal Resorts don’t use them unless the guest is on AI.
