Just closed on our resale for HGVC Flamingo. Yea!

Question, how long does it take to get thownershipip transferred at HGVC? We are anxious to book. Should I call them or wait for a package/email?

Thanks,
Duane

It varies. I called on my first one and they ended up giving me my member ID number over the phone so I could log in. It was a long while before anything arrived in the mail.

Hold your horses.
From closing, it may take a week for the deed to be recorded + returned.
HGVC will need a copy of the recorded-deed before they do their thing.
Wait ~ 2 weeks or verify its mailing to HGVC before calling for your number.

It took about 3 weeks or so after closing before we were able to log on to the HGVC Member Website. THEN it took another 10 days before we could access the RCI portal from the HGVC website.

Thanks. I verified the documents were sent to HGVC on Friday. Just anxious because we are within the 9 month time frame.

Last year when I tried to rent from someone (Flamingo) the place was already booked for our time frame. Of course I thought 6 months was far enough out - know better now :)

When we added the Flamingo it was 2 weeks after signing (closing) when they showed up on my account. I did already have a HGVC account.

Thanks all.
JM thanks for the link. The deed is recorded. That surprised me. I'll give them some time then call. Looking to book home resort so don't need RCI right now.

Thanks again,
Duane

What an incredibly valuable site this is!!! I just searched this forum and found your link to the Clark County Recorder's Office (for my recent LV strip purchase). Found my name and my deed is recorded....yee-haw:clap:
