How long to process deposit? (RCI)

Hi,

I've owned my TS since 07 but only just joined RCI a few weeks ago. I deposited my week last week and apparently they have to verify my deposit before I can exchange. It's been about 5 days and when I try and exchange online I get the message "you have no weeks to exchange" or something of the sort.

Is this delay normal? How long does it usually take? I'm itching to plan my vacation!

It could take up to 2 weeks. RCI has to confirm with your resort that you own the week and the maintenance fees are uptodate.

With regard to both my recent deposits, it took approx 1 month for them to verify and then only because I called the resorts and had them intervene. Who knows why the delay

I would call RCI and ask for an update.

I have several RCI affiliated resorts. I can tell you from experience that the length of time to verify a deposit varies with the resort. IMHO, at this point, the best approach is for you to contact the resort.
