How long does an RCI Points membership transfer take?

I mailed an RCI Points Membership from to RCI via certified mail along with a check to complete the transfer. RCI received my form and check on 1/24/06, but I haven't heard anything from RCI and my check has not been cashed! How long does an RCI Points transfer usually take?

It could take 4 to 8 weeks even longer depending on if the moon is in its 7th house & Jupiter aligns with etc etc etc. point is it's a crap shoot.

The difficulty for me was that the whole process is done back office so no one knows anything (it's pointless to call - I kept calling anyway) until magically one day your account is ready.

I was not contacted when my account was ready I happened to call one day (I spaced my calls a week apart) and was told oh it's ready. I always felt like if I hadn't called it would have been another week or two before I heard from them.

The timeline will depend upon work volumes in our Customer Service Department as well as how complete the information is on the Membership Transfer Application.
