How long did you have "Pending Confirmation"?

I exchanged my 2010 deposited harborside week to Jan. 2012 week today.
It was about 10am this morning, and my SVN/II account still says "Pending Confirmation".
Is it normal?
It's the first time exchange using mandatory week and didn't expect pending status such a long time.
For other (independent II account) weeks, I got confirmation e-mail within 30 minutes.
I am getting worried now.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

My pending to confirmed took two days. Even though it's deposited they verify the usage w starwood before confirmation (that what they told me anyway bc I called w the same question). May take til Monday due to the weekend.

yumdrey - Did you call Starwood Owner Services to "designate your week for exchange," when you deposited it?

Denise,
Previous owner deposited that week at the end of 2010, and as soon as the week transferred to me, I got an e-mail from Starwood which said I have a 2010 week deposited to II which would be expired on June, 2012.

I have never traded mandatory week before, and wondering if it's normal to have pending exchange for over one day?
Thanks!

yumdrey, ... "and as soon as the week transferred to me, I got an e-mail from Starwood which said I have a 2010 week deposited to II"

How long between receiving that e-mail and making the II reservation? I don't think you are "home free" yet using a 2010 week (deposited prior to your ownership) that was in someone else's account in II for your use (not theirs) in a 2012 II trade.

This type of question will probably become more common as sellers try to transfer banked StarOptions when they sell a mandatory resort. ... eom

II verifies that a deposit is available if you place a pending request, usually within two business days. After that, if you confirm using a pending request, the reservation should show as confirmed. If you exchanged by clicking on your floating week, then II needs to call and confirm a deposit is available with SVN - again, about two business days.

I sold a bunch of my weeks, and the buyer did not want the 2011 usage. I designated the 2011 week for exchange, placed pending requests, then sold the weeks. I should be able to book something with that pending request even after selling the week, because II already called and confirmed the deposit was available when placing the request. Thus when you instantly exchange using a pending request, it should automatically show as confirmed under II history.

That's good to know.
So I will put a pending request for deposited weeks to use next time.
This 2010 weeks was deposited by a previous owner and came to me (previous owner didn't put pending request).

I got that e-mail at least 2-3 weeks ago and I made a reservation yesterday.
Previous owner didn't put pending request for her deposited week (2010 week), so that week was transferred to me when starwood transferred the account.
