Looking to buy either at Seaworld or Tuscany. Planning to stay in a studio in November or January. Is it easy to book a studio 9 months in advance in those two resorts? Is it easy to book a studio or a 1 bedroom during open season in those two resorts? Which resort has the best studio? best kitchenette? best balcony?

It's quite easy to book any HGVC in Orlando, even up to ~60 days out...
Except holidays, i.e. Presidents Day (2/17) or 3BR's, when ~6 mos is better.
Open Season is likewise easy to book (except for holidays).*

*For Open Season in a Studio, you should compare the cost of a hotel room.
Even booking a HGVC studio thru Hilton Hotels may be less expensive.

Seaworld, being older, has a better size, kitchenette & balcony, and a resort-feel.
But we prefer Tuscany's location for it's proximity to Disney, restaurants & shops.

BTW, if you're gonna use club-booking, t's not necessary to buy where you stay.

Agree with @Talent312, if you aren't planning to use your Home Week booking (which it isn't necessary at Orlando), it may be better to buy where MFs (maintenance fees) are lower.
