It works only at St Regis and Ritz properties, for at least a 2 night stay. Fine, but, when booking online, I see no indication of any special rate or tag about the credit.

So, does it apply at *any* Ritzs or St Regis on marriott.com?

It is a special rate. I've seen it several times. The rate is usually a wash in that the rate is typically $35-$45 more per night.

You may need to have the card saved as one of your payment options before the rate is shown. I'm not sure.

It was exactly that. Had to have the card added to my profile. The rate I was checking was actually the lowest rate though, and it showed the $100. Maybe it's ymmv?
