How does Marriott count an EOY week when determining levels?

I sold off one of my HI weeks. This year I do not have one of my EOY weeks (Ko Olina in odd years) which gives me 4950 points. So my total points for 2024 are 12175. Next year they will go up to 17125 if the EOY points are only taken in consideration the year you have it. I don't know why, but I assumed I would get 1/2 each year since I pay half of the maintenance fees every year! Will I be presidential one year and then chairman's club the next?

No, they count those EOY at half the point value every year. Based on the numbers I see, your status should be based off 14,604 Club Points every year.
