We want to compare the wyndham rewards card to the other cards out there. We need an understanding on how points earned on the card, do convert.
We use airline credit cards to earn points to get airplane tickets. Do we get more cash value doing that or would we get more cash value using Wyndham's card to pay maint. fees?
Can Wyndham card's points be used for an airline ticket?

I'm not sure what you want to know. It's not straight forward. You can redeem 15000 reward points for a single night in a Wyndham associated hotel and that could be a cheapo Knights Inn or a very expensive Wyndham Grand...same points.

You can use points to pay for various fees. You can pay for Perk's annual fee or $60 toward your Wyndham resort
maintenance fees each with 10000 reward points. Here's a chart from the redemption page:

I don't think you can buy airline tickets with Wyndham Rewards points. In redemption it allows you to convert the points to various airline partners. Here's what the exchange is for American airlines and I think the others are similar:
