Hi I joined TUG to sell my Summer Bay Resort Orlando Florida timeshare. I'm sure I posted my timeshare for sale but I cannot figure out if anyone is seeing my advertisement. Do prospective buyers email me if they are interested in the property?
Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks
Michelle

I think you may have had this same conversation back on December 23rd, 2020, and as others had said, your Orlando Timeshare is likely worth little or nothing. With that said (and assuming the loan is 100% paid up) your best bet may be to contact the original developer and see if they will take it back for little or no charge.....

Otherwise, you can advertise it here on the bargain giveaway section that TUG has. Go to "Buying, Selling, and Renting Timeshares" then click on "Free Timeshare Giveaways and Bargain Deals".

Place your free timeshare advertisement in the Free Timeshare Giveaway section and be as detailed as possible as to when it can booked (i.e. timeshare use), how big is the unit (i.e. one bedroom, two bedroom, etc.), annual maintenance fees (i.e. how much does it cost annually), name of the Resort, and when it is available for the buyer's first booking.

Timeshares are a dime a dozen these days, so you may want to sweeten the pot by offering to pay the closing costs and 2022 Maintenance fees.

Best of luck!

This is just a slight technicality but the owner would not try to return it to the developer. The owner would contact the resort's Homeowners' Association.

If it's with a major TS company that has deed back programs in place (Diamond, Wyndham, Westgate, etc.), then the owner could also try to contact the company.

New TUG member, want to sell my Calypso Cay near Orlando time share for $1 in the Free Timeshares/Bargain Giveaways section. If I attract a buyer, how do I arrange for a broker associate? Is it a good idea to contact one in advance to find out the costs? That would allow me to decide if I want to cover all or part of the costs.

If you find a taker for your Timeshare then use L.T. Transfers to handle the transfer for you. They are very reasonable and do a great job. Go to:

www.LTTransfers.com

Many people here on TUG use them for their transfers.

Orlando Timeshares these days are a dime a dozen. I would strongly suggest considering paying the transfer fee to make the deal attractive to someone. You may also want to sweeten the pot by paying for 2021 and or 2022 maintenance fees.

Best of luck and welcome to TUG.
