We purchased a 5 days/4 Nights package for $995 back in March before COVID-19 hit. The agreement has an expiration date of 9-10-21. We purchased additional DP when they agreed to cancel this program but then we chose to cancel the purchase. They had already communicated to Encore folks the cancellation. We had made 5, $99 payments and received $300 refund. The Encore folks have stopped the auto deduct from Bonvoy card in August.

Any suggestions about cancelling (justification) and getting our remaining $200 back? Certainly COVID-19 is an issue as many of the locations are very high infection rates.

You will need to contact Marriott directly (weekdays 9 am to 5 pm eastern time) and they will transfer you to someone in the "Encore Dept." who can then either cancel or reschedule your time.

I am not sure how they will (or if they can) handle a full or partial refund, but it all starts with a phone call.

I was in the same boat and ended up canceling and rescheduling several times (now set for May of 2021). I may reschedule again at some point.
