Hotel pts question

We have enough pts between my DW & I to get a 3 night stay on pts. I have enough for one night and my DW has enough for 1 night and together we have enough for the 3rd night

The problem is the third night, She would have to give me the 4000 pts I need to get the 3rd night but the website says that would cost ~ $150. I don't want to spend $150 that is why I'm using pts :wall: .

Is there another option?

There are three ways to book a Starwood hotel room.

1) Cash
2) Points
3) Cash & Points

#1 is the most readily available, of course. #3 is sometimes available when #2 is not. Sounds like the hotel is offering cash & points for the last night. You can wait and see if points availability shows up later, but it's a crap shoot.

Now, if you're talking about some sort of fee for transferring points, there is no fee associated with points transferred among people in the same household. You just have to call Starwood and tell them to combine your points for the last night.

Transfer the points into one account, the transfer is free. We do this all the time, since my account get the platinum benefits.
