We'll be staying at the Broadway Plantation in May but need a hotel for one night prior to our stay. I was thinking that it might be nice to stay in a hotel right on the boardwalk because my wife has trouble walking distances.

Are there places like this ? Any suggestions for a nice place near all of the action ?

Thanks !
Mike

OMG< there are hotels on the beach everywhere. Do a search for MB visitors bureau. Lots of discounts!! Don't forget to eat at Sea Captains right on the beach for a romantic dinner. shaggy

We'll be sure to check out the restaurant. Thanks Shaggy!

But I'm looking for a hotel that is right on the central part of the Boardwalk-not just beachfront. Any suggestions anyone ?

Seaglass, a Bluegreen Resort, is right on the boardwalk from what I remember. Also, there is a pier with a restaurant and gift shop directly in front of the resort. It is a vacation club, so might be hard to get a room for a night - but you might check travelocity.

We loved the floor to ceiling windows - the view was great.
