My son and wife have 3 1/2 year ol, 2 year old a 8 month old boys. They need a vacation so we want to give them a week in Orlando. Which would anyone recommend the Horizons or Cypress Harbour?

Horizons by far the better choice for small children.

Horizon's was purposely built for young families, so much that it turns off many families with older children and adult w/o children. Amenites and theming of the resort will be a great fit for your son's family. Kiddie pools and zero depth entry pools galore. At least 1, maybe 2 of the kiddie pools even have a giant tarp/sail over it, to shade the little ones from the sun. When my kids were that age, I really liked that the kiddie pool was fenced off from the rest of the pool area so that the kids were contained and I could relax a bit. They had some freedom, but they were always in my view. The little ones could also enjoy the large pools because it had such a large area of shallow water, not to mention the pirate ship and all the water sprays. The playground and minigolf are fantastic. Nice compact resort. No matter which building you're at, it's not a far walk, if you forget something in the villa. That used to happen to me...forgot sunscreen, kid needs a snack, cold drink, need certain toy, dry clothes, etc.
