Really a nice sunset tonight. I had to miss work last week with kidney stones and I was in the hospital for the third time in two weeks on Saturday. So I haven’t been doing much and have enjoyed watching the sunset in the evenings.

I am going to try to return to work tomorrow, as long as I don’t have issues tonight. I have a bunch of meds to help with the pain and they have been working pretty well since Saturday. I have to go back on and get the stent removed on Tuesday so o hope tohave all this past me on Tuesday.

The sunsets have been great and it was nice to be able to enjoy them all week. I like the fifth and sixth pictures where I got the sunset, the ships and a Plane going over.

Beautiful pictures. Thank you for sharing. We’re missing Hawaii terribly especially since it is so cold here.

So very sorry to hear of your health issues. Hope you feel better very soon.

If this were DISboards, I’d be sending pixie dust to help you get well soon. Is there a TUG equivalent? Anyway, hope all goes well this week!

Kidney stones are a bummer. A friend gave me a remedy for stones that works for me. Buy 32 ounces of real lemon juice. Drink 8 ounces of lemon juice and 8 ounces of water then every hour after drink 2 ounces of lemon juice and eight ounces of water. Do this until the 32 ounces are gone. Brush the teeth after drinking the lemon juice as the juice can eat tooth enamel.

This seems to soften calcium type stones.

no green flash?

I did make it I. To work today. Felt really bad when I got here but it did pass for now. I hope all is well when I get this stent out tomorrow.

I have seen green flashes here on Oahu, right at that same location. I can never get a picture though. I’ll keep trying.

I may try that. I find out tomorrow what the stones were made from. Right now I don’t have any more. The pain seems to be coming from the stent but they say it’s where it’s supposed to be. Hopefully, I’m better when they remove it tomorrow.

I have had Kidney Stones twice. They can be pretty horrible. The first time I found myself falling out of my dinner chair and to the floor in pain. By the time I got to the hospital the Imaging Studies showed it passing. The second episode was about 4 years later. After the 2nd episode my Doctor had me carry pain killers 24 hours a day just in case for about 5 years. I have not had a 3rd episode.

Best of luck in your recovery.

I had to get mine removed and I’m still having problems with this stent but it’s getting removed tomorrow. I’m still having problems getting the pain meds right. Hopefully, I’ll be good after tomorrow.

Great pictures! I’ve had multiple kidney stones and multiple procedures to get rid of them. I’ve also had a couple of stents. You should feel a lot better after getting the stent removed even though you might still have some pain for the rest of the day.

My wife had some stone blasted twice and she said the stent was uncomfortable but I have had sharp pain. Less than a day now so as long as I make it through tonight I should be good.

Sorry to hear about you pain and hospitalization. Not that any time is good but this is not a good time to have to go to the hospital.

Nice pictures. Sunsets where the Sun appears to go into the Ocean are the best. While Sunsets are everyday not that many give a clean unclouded picture of the Sun appearing to go into the Ocean. I have seen and recorded Green Flashes in Honolulu a few times. Next time you see a nice Sunset with the Sun going into the Ocean take a movie near the end to see if you can get a Green Flash.

Got the stent out late yesterday afternoon. Most of the pain went away right away. I’m down to only 2 pills for pain and the pain is much less severe. Hopefully, it will decrease everyday. I finally slept all night and only a little pain when I woke up. So far much better with the stent removed. I’m looking to have a good day today.

Mahalo do the Well Wishes everyone !!

I missed the sunset yesterday but the sky was nice in the evening when it got dark. I’ll be watching tonight.

Glad hear you're doing better, Jeff. Keep healing. Those sunsets happen just about every night, or so I've heard. :D

I'm a sucker for Hawaiian sunsets. (I don't do sunrises.) Thanks for posting your pictures.
