Last time I was in Hong Kong, I stayed at the JW Marriott downtown and I enjoyed it so much, but this time I only need to rest my head for a few hours before my next flight. Any recommendations for a relatively inexpensive hotel in Hong Kong near the airport. I will probably only be there 6 or 7 hours. The key thing for me is it is clean!

Hong Kong airport is no longer in the city. It's quite some distance out. You might check www.tripadvisor.com for choices.

We were there several years ago, and had the same issue. We needed a hotel near the airport for the night.
We found one called "Hotel Airport" or some such thing. We had walked to the hotel from the airport(via their connecting train) I do not remember what we paid but it was a very fancy hotel.
I found this website http://hongkong.airporthotelguide.com/
Maybe this will help
