Hollywood Chooses Coral Reef Beach Resort

Hollywood invaded the Coral Reef Beach Resort yesterday.

Yes you read that right. Film makers are in town to film an upcoming Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Benson movie called "Spring Breakers" due for release in 2013.

They have been in the St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island area filming recently and yesterday they filmed hundreds of "extras" partying around the pool at the Coral Reef Beach Resort.

Yee, the real spring breakers I have seen in Ft Lauderdale (pools mostly) have MUCH smaller bikinis on the young ladies and much, much smaller swim trunks on the guys. Cover ups and towels are NOT part of the image either.

Plus, there are the normal guests (60-95yos) who just love the heated pools also. Who like cover ups, towels, sunscreen, chaise lounge chairs, and big hats.
