This is my understanding of the current situation BUT make sure to do your due diligence before travelling. Discretionary travel is currently restricted between Canada and the US and a 14 day quarantine may be required for travelers entering Canada.

So this week may only be useful for Canadians.

The border restrictions for Americans wanting to enter Canada just got tighter a couple weeks ago. Border is in effect closed to tourism into Canada for Americans.

We are in Kelowna this last week and over at Lake Okanagan Resort. Not a US license plate around.

From the Canada Border Services site:
“
Arriving from the United States
If you are a foreign national arriving from the United States, to enter Canada, you must prove to the CBSA that you:

• are travelling for a non-discretionary (essential) purpose or are an immediate family member
• are not presenting signs or symptoms of COVID-19
• have a plan to quarantine for 14 days, unless exempted

The Canada-U.S. temporary border restriction continues. All discretionary/optional travel remains prohibited.”
