When we declined the timeshare package at the presentation, we were offered a "Latitudes" package ($1499 for 7-days at Orange Lake Resort in Orlando). My wife thought this was great, but it looks like a lot of misdirection. Is it really a good deal? The voucher offer of $400 looks like a joke -- but please let me know if anyone has experiences with this. We still have time to rescind.

Thanks!

I can't speak from experience with this package but pretty much everything a developer is going to offer is way over priced and full of fine print that may lock you into some long term fees.
I can book an extra vacation through RCI at the East or West village, 2BR unit for $850-$1250.

I currently rent 2 bedrooms at Orange Lake for between $900 and $1100 a week so $1499 seems high.

It is just to sink the fangs into you. Explore resale.
