I am glad I found this site. I am totally new to Timeshares and just went to Orange lake this weekend and went through the sales presentation.

I did sign up knowing I can cancel within 10 days if I could not find a better deal. What I purchased was 100,000 points for 17,000 and they were pushing their Scottsdale AZ property because the annual fees were $473 instead of orange lake being around $1200.

I live in Florida 2.5 hours away and the one thing I did like was the Max offers that could stretch out our points as we can travel last minute. This would give us the ability to get 2 to 4 weeks per year possibly.

I need some direction on how its possible to purchase a resale with the Point system. All of the ones I have seen online have been the old school fixed weeks. I am also open to looking at Marriott or Hilton.

Rescind! Follow the instructions exactly & get that letter in the mail fast! You can get more points for way less in the resale market. After you mail the letter read all the info on the forums & advice pages on here and then you can decide what system will work best for you and how many points you'll need to stay when & where you want.

Welcome to TUG!

When you rescind, make sure all who signed the contract sign the rescission letter. Send the letter Certified with return receipt.
