I was checking flights to HNL from Bradley Field in CT just to get an idea of cost for a future trip.

I have always flown in June and lately Sept but am thinking of trying Feb next year. Last year I paid $623.00 RT on Continental. Two years prior to that I believe it was approx. $650.00 RT on Northwestern. It appears that fares are up to $725 on United/Delta multi carrier 2 stops. Also Delta 1 stop for $957.00.

Because I cannot get a qoute on a fare for Feb 2010 yet I checked Feb 2009 fares just to compare and found $537 per person on Delta 1 stop. These flights have a lot of empty seats avail.

I can understand the low fare for Feb 09 because of all the avail seats but overall I would think that Feb is usually a higher demand for flights then Sept so the cost would probably be more in Feb 2010 then Sept. 09.

My question is what is the norm for flights in Feb. as compared to Sept. based on past experience. I thought there was a site to check something like this but I cannot find it now.
