So, since my e-mail filters out spam, I could be assasinated and not even know I had had a chance to pay off the hit man. :annoyed: How many people actually fall for this?

Gee if I am being 'watched' they must be invisible...we have very few cars go by our house, know all our neighbors (and we don't have many) and get bored watching DH in his garden with the dog and me sitting at the PC or cleaning house! :whoopie:

Yes, Rose, unfortunately people do fall for this stuff. One of Ft. Myers TV stations had a story on someone who fell for the Nigerian scam and lost a lot of money. A few weeks ago an ex-co worker of DH emailed, then called me and said he had gotten an email saying he had won the British lottery and what did I know about it. All I asked him was "Did you ever buy a ticket?" No...was his answer, BUT it still said I won. I told him to forget it..they were only after personal information. Then I went to www.snopes.com looked it up and sent him the link. But I think he was really ready to fall for it. That is sad.
