My family just wrapped up a stay at Shenandoah Crossing.

There was no resort fee when I booked via RCI, and I was not charged one when checking out today.

However, the RCI fee page now shows a fee of $25 per day. The front desk told me I picked a good time to visit and the resort fee for exchangers starts later this month.

Wonder if this is happing for all BGs that did not previously charge resort fees?

I know that I've had extra fees waived when staying at HGVC affiliates on an RCI exchange when showing my HGVC ownership card.
I wonder if that will work with BG as well now that they are part of HGVC.

I am an HGVC owner that has never exchanged into HGVC via RCI. But I know it is their policy not to waive fees like that, and for the most part reports in the HGVC forum is that it doesn't happen.

I seem to remember hearing a few reports earlier during the Diamond/HVC merger with HGVC that diamond resorts waived fees for HGVC owners, but I don't think that has been real or lasting.
