I know there are several buildings in this group. In your opinion which is best and can I request a particular one if I am exchanging into Hilton Hawaiian Village.

HHV has two dedicated timeshare towers right now. The closest to the water is Lagoon tower and set further back is the Grand Waikikian. Lagoon used to be a condo that was converted to timeshares so no washer and dryer in room but on each floor and building was built in the 60's. It has great ocean front views and as stated earlier is closest to the ocean out of the three timeshare towers.

Grand Waikikian is set behind the lagoon tower and does offer some nice views but the units are very nice. GW was built in the past 7 years or so and has all the modern amenities.

Kalia tower is the farthest tower from the ocean and is closest to fort derussey. It is a mixed tower with hotel units located on the bottom half of the tower and the timeshares are I believe the top 8 floors or so. Farthest walk to the beach but closest walk to the heart of waikiki for dining and shopping.

You will know what tower you have by the exchange saying lagoon, grand waikikian or kalia tower. Kalia tower has studios and 1br units only.

HHV has two... timeshare towers. [Amongst the timeshares are Lagoon, Grand Waikikian and Kalia Tower... Wait! Starting again... HHV has three timeshare towers...]

Sorry. I concur with frank808.
But I had to edit to refer to Monty Python's "Spanish Inquisition" sketch from the 70's.
Some of us are old enuff to remember that.

With respect to OPs question, if you are trying to exchange on (Via RCI) then I would watch for bulk deposits. HGVC does bulk deposits periodically and it's a great trading opportunity (my first trip was via trade).

I would trade into any of the three properties, but Lagoon Tower is my personal favorite. HHV rocks and you would enjoy any tower.

Best,

Greg
