I compeleted one week rental for HGVC in OCT using Redweek.
End of OCT I received email from HGVC about rental of vacation.
They said they know that I rent out from redweek and stop any more rentals.

Do somebody know what's happen?
I think HGVC does'nt know I used redweek for rental.
Has anyone received a similar email?

The only thing you are allowed to rent with regards to HGVC is your home week. Which is the home season and size of unit you own. Did you rent something else out? It was verified via redweek I would assume they contacted HGVC to confirm.

It's also possible that when the guest checked in they said something about renting the unit from an owner.

Oh...
I didn't know that I can rent only home week.
I used club reservation for rent.
Also I didn't think Redweek contact HGVC to confirm reservation directly.

Redweek contact your timeshare to confirm that the reservation is legitimate for the full service offering, that's how they know you have rented it out.
I didn't think redweek contact HGVC directry.
I have another reservation for rent, because I cannot go to vacation for hard job.
So,should I use not verified suervice?

Probably better to just do things in accordance with the rules and not rent Club bookings. Only rent home weeks instead. Especially now since you're on HGVC's radar, if you change the name on any Club booking they're going to assume you're renting even if Redweek doesn't contact them to verify the listing.

HGVC’s radar…
Do you know how long does it take to remove the list of radar?
I still have one reservation that we cannot to use because of my job.
What is the best way for rent someone?

From the FAQs on the Redweek website, see below. Now you are on their radar, they may well do as sponger76 says and assume you are renting when you change a name on a booking

Thank you for FAQs.
I have a plan to rent my friend at next year that not yet reserved.
Is that OK under my condition that when I take a reservation, apply my friends name for guest, not for change a guest name?

Nobody knows how long they might watch a particular account. How's about you simply obey HGVC's rules instead of trying to find ways to break them without getting caught?

I think that's exactly right, I have to comply rules.
I should have understood the rules before renting it.

To everyone who responded to my post
Thank you for reply and information of HGVC and rentals.
Before I deed HGVC, sometimes I rented a vacation from redweek very easy.
So after deed HGVC and became I cannot use my reservation becouse of job, I thoght that's good idea to rent my reservatin at redweek for compensation for MF.
That's coused my terrible conditon because I didn't know the rules well.
I have to move carefully comlying with rules.
Thanks a lot!

There shouldn’t be an issue if your guest is friends or family and if they compensate you for the maintenance fees that’s only fair. Don’t do it regularly. Not commercially. Also, if you have to give a week away use it as a birthday or Christmas gift so save money that way. Maybe you can trade something with someone also, some plumbing etc. This notion you should give your friends and family a $1200+ vacation (much more when you add in the tens of thousands to buy in) is absolutely ridiculous. It’s still a gift even if they pay some or all of your fees. You may have to make sure they understand that they are not renting and the true value of what they are getting compared to $250 a night for a hotel room. Your deeded home week you have the right to rent to ANYONE, and I had an uninformed corporate gal try to chew me out because I asked them to confirm for Redweek, they really disgust me these people. They wouldn’t have jobs without us. Anyhow, good luck renting the home week even for the maintenance! You might as well use it rather than lose the money. I wasnt even able to rent my Super Bowl week at Elara last year. This really burns me because yet another sales rep at the last update went on and on about go-koala and other ways to not only rent POiNTS reservations but also the RCI weeks. What a putz! In the driveway they have a cyber truck, Maserati etc etc. These jerks are making bank. Basically legal scam artists. I know the MF are very hard for people, my heart goes out to you. You don’t deserve to be lied to and blamed for getting in over your head and even if we might have been in good financial shape when we bought, inflation, a hurricane, death in the family it all freaking adds up. Hang in there.
