I'm looking to sell my timeshares. I've had 2 properties for a few years now. I've always heard that points don't transfer on sale but I called HIC Horizons yesterday and they mentioned I could sell on ebay and the points would transfer. Do points actually transfer?
If I was to sell would I have to sell each separately or together like transfering the whole account?

For reference I have 300,000 pts at Scottsdale Resort and 50,000 Signature at Myrtle Beach with $1655 and $260 maintenance fees respectively.
I looked on ebay and haven't been able to find anything relevant to give me an idea of what these may be worth. Any suggestions or advice?

While Scottsdale UDI remains as points it would only be good at Scottsdale. A resale owner would not be able to book anywhere else. The Signature at Myrtle Beach sounds like it is likely part of the trust so while it would remain in points for booking signature units but there are a lot of restrictions with trust points. I think it would be difficult who would want to pay more than $1000 on the Scottsdale Resort and then only if they love that resort and more than $100-200 for the trust points.

makes sense to me, thank you. Can you explain more about the trust or point me to some info? I bought the property ~5 years ago and I don't remember hearing anything about that.

If you bought the signature points 5 years ago than it wasn't trust points it was UDI. Which would meant that the resale owner could only use for 50,000 for signature inventory at myrtle beach only.
