HICV Resale - Which resorts keep their point as points?

A search has not yield the answer for me, but I know it is posted somewhere.

If you buy a HICV via resale any points contracts revert back to Fixed Week contracts at all resorts except 3. What are those 3 resorts where Points actually stay in Points.

The 3 are Myrtle Beach, Gatlinburg, and Wisconsin (lake Geneva).

Lake Geneva, Smoky Mountain & South Beach are the 3 that retain their points access on resale if I am not mistaken

I do believe that HICV is going to get added to the new subforum list at the beginning of the year along with bluegreen, so we can start to add sticky posts and helpful tips in that forum when we start moving posts over.

HICV is taking deedbacks at the resorts whose points do not transfer. I'm not sure if they take back at all resorts, but I deeded back Las Vegas and I have heard of people who have deeded back in Orlando.

So if one was to buy a resale in HICV it is best to buy in Gatlinburg, Myrtle Beach or Lake Geneva. If I read this correctly.

unless you simply want to buy a fixed week at the other resorts yes.

many folks will buy these freebie weeks to trade them, its a very cheap way into exchanging (just not within HICV)
