I am looking for information on how many points per night it would take to stay at any of the Holiday Inn vacation club resorts. I was looking at buying points from one of their points only resorts but cannot find any information on nightly cost because I cannot login without an account.

That’s great, thanks. It seems like the fees are pretty high for this system.

The maintenance fees on lake Geneva. What would a 10k point contract run yearly?

Did I miss something?
Are you adding 10k to something else?

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
Lake Geneva had a different developer. They were sold as Marcus vacation points. Some still advertise them for sale vs HICV. Marcus points multiply by 12.5 to get to HICV points so 10,000 Marcus point would be 125,000 HICV.
HICV did sell as few as 15,000 HICV points deeded at Lake Geneva -typically to convert full weeks at the non mandatory resorts before they raised the minimum to convert. So there are a number of 15,000 point contracts out there. They have relatively low MF but you still have to pay the annual HICV membership fee and 15,000 points isn't going to get you much.

The OP needs to figure out if the 10,000 point contract he is looking at is Marcus points or HICV points. If he lists the MF, it can probably be determined fairly easily.

Thanks, I’ve been looking in the HICV catalog as far as how many points I would need. That’s convoluted with Marcus points. I would be happy with 12000 or so HICV points and low fees for what I want to do. I would like access to the Vermont resort. I see many fixed contracts here but 1200+ in fees a year is not ideal for me.

Lake Geneva Marcus points
You multiple marcus points X 12.5 to get HICV points equivalent
12,000 x 12.5 = 150,000 HICV points
