HICV linking deeds?

I have two separate deeds with Holiday Inn one is paid for and one is not. With Covid my timeshare payments have fallen behind unfortunately. Holiday Inn is telling me that even though my deed that is paid for is up-to-date I cannot use it until my other one is caught up. They said that because both of these have my husband and I as the owners that they link them together. Is this true is there anyway around this? It does not make sense to me how to deeds in two separate states would be linked together in this way. Any advice appreciated

Yes its true. Both fall under the same HICV account so the account isn't up to date. Nothing you can really do if both of your names are on the deeds.

I just don’t understand how this is legal. If they are in two different states and they were bought at two separate times

It goes by owner name and by membership. All deeds go into 1 membership.

Nothing Illegal about it. No way around it.
