I am serving in US coast guard, have served in Florida, Illinois and California. Our section get discount from Marriott hotel chain. Does anybody know about an hotel associated with Marriott in Oklahoma city. I need it for 3 days, after it, I will arrange something by myself(as I do not know about the place). If yes, also tell about the services quality (in terms of food, serving and comfort). I am going to serve in coast guard institute as a training instructor for the next 2 years(which is near Oklahoma city).

Serious help will be appreciated.

Thanks!!

Pat, if you go to the www.marriot.com website you can search for hotels in Oklahoma City. The list comes up for all the hotels...randomly click on "view rates" then click on room details to see when hotel was built, last renovated, etc. Under "special rates" you can click on "government/military" for discounts. If you click on "view hotel website" you can see the amenities/pictures/map of location. Lots of info on each hotel. Hope this help and thank you for serving in the US Coast Guard!

Tripadvisor.com tends to have pretty reliable reviews of hotels. I always check it before booking. I take the remarks with a grain of salt, but if all the reviews are either good or bad, I consider that when deciding what to book.

Re:

Thanks for the quick reply. Most of the time (about 90%), Marriott is perfect way to live. But I am asking about personal experience from you guys.

Thanks again for the tips. :)

Want to add my sincere thanks for serving our country in the US Coast Guard, PatrickWechsler. Though I lived in OK for years, it was in northeast OK and I'm not very knowledgeable about OKC. But this I do know, you might consider picking the Marriott closest to Bricktown. Bricktown is a very cool urban renewal that has some great restaurant and entertainment options if those interest you. Thank you again.
