HGVC via RCI

Is it possible to do an OGS in RCI via HGVC portal, for a HGVC property more than 10 months out? What is the cut off? I don't see that information documented anywhere.
 
You can put in an ongoing search for up to 2 years out. Ongoing searches capture RCI weeks deposits. It is only RCI points deposits that aren't available further than 10 months out and you cannot do ongoing searches for those.
 
I believe that hgvc has restrictions where hgvc members can't reserve hgvc properties more that 9 months out. . I don't know if it is in effect, but I expect it may be..

It is true that you won't be able to get the exchange further out. I didn't read the OP clearly enough to see that is what they were asking. I have put in ongoing searches further out, but they won't match until the 9 month window. I don't know if we sit in line and get first chance at that point, but I did have a match come through that way before.

If anyone ever does get a confirmed match further out than 9 months, Don't Post about it!! We wouldn't want that to get fixed. ;)
