I noticed that HGVC at Trump Int’l wasn’t included. Is the staff there employed by Trump Int’l and HGVC some base amount toward staffing costs?

Best regards.

Mike

Something like that, I’m sure.

Well it is not permission to bang ones car into the car in front of you if you get laid off.

I don't know exactly what HGVC means by it but in New York State Civil Service it means that if you started with the State say 10 years ago in the title of Clerk and then 5 years ago and you were promoted to Senior Clerk and they laid you off as a Senior Clerk you would have the right to "bump" the Clerk with the least seniority(assuming that person had less seniority than you) and take that person's job as Clerk and they would get laid off instead of you.

Will the maintenance fees for those properties go down significantly because they are not employing staff (which I would assume would be the largest single line item expense?)

Trump is a blend. There is hotel, whole ownership and timeshare in that mix. I dont know the percentage.

I wonder how many of these are the sales team versus operational support? I can’t imagine they have many people coming in for updates.

Do they have sales at Trump? I know for Flamingo guests they send them to either The Boulevard or Elara (can’t remember which). I would think they would do the same at Trump.

I’m pretty certain the additional expenses of cleaning the rooms to a higher standard will more than offset any savings generated by reduced employment.

My bet is it depends on the resort. I would think most of the increased cleaning costs, wherever they occur, would be personnel costs. A lot fewer people going to Vegas, there could have savings.

The Ocean Oak at HHI staying full through COVID-19 ... considerably higher cleaning costs and probably a greater demand from South.

I am sure there is a lot I am not thinking of, but I don’t see costs changing the same at every location.

HGVC bought 300 units and there are just over 1200 totals units. Trump Intl is still Selling residences there too.

They send them to The Boulevard. We were invited to participate during our recent two day stay and that’s what they told us. We declined.

Best regards.

To have bumping rights and seniority in a lay off is very important . Especially, when the employer is bumping by position title and seniority. IMO.

We’ve done the sales thing twice staying at Trump and were shipped off to Boulevard both times.

Personally, I think Elara is a far more desirable location and venue than Boulevard. I get that they’ve got their sales/marketing infrastructure there, but it would be at best #4 preference of the HGVC options for us.

Are the HGVC resorts in Las Vegas not "fully open" at this time? It seems like they have been "fully open" for almost 2 months now.. For those who have been to one of the Las Vegas HGVC resorts recently, how busy was it there?
