Hi. I just snagged an exchange into a 3 bedroom at HGVC Seaworld for June 2009. The arrival date is Sunday. We are very excited to stay at this resort for the first time.

Does the resort assign certain sections for certain arrival dates?

From searching on TUG, I see that the first two buildings built are the ones on either side of the main pool. These two buildings are a little different design than the others. Then they added buildings in one direction in a linear fashion. Lastly, they removed the old sales center building and added one more building. What is the difference, basically, between the old and the new buildings and units with regard to layout and furnishings? Have the old units been refurbished?

I also see that some buildings face the fireworks at Seaworld! Which are these and what floor do you need to be on?

If I wanted to see fireworks and be near the main pool, is that possible or do I need to choose one over the other?

Of course, I realize that I might not get any of my wishes but the view and proximity are important to my family (grandma can't walk very well and kids love to watch fireworks).

Seaworld Penthouse Units

:hi: We did stay there two years ago in a penthouse unit facing Seaworld and we watched the fireworks most nights. the view was great and the unit fantastic. My friends have stayed at other places for golf vacations and they thought Seaworld was the best place they ever stayed. The unit was very large and different from the other units in the complex. We just got back from Seaworld yesterday and we stayed in a 2br in building #3. It was one building away from the main pool and the unit was nice but no comparison to the penthouse units. I think you will love the unit. we did.
Have a great trip.

Hi Dan!

Thanks for the information. Was the penthouse unit close to the main pool area? Which building was it in and which unit number?

I'm guessing they have many three bedroom units and some aren't penthouse units but I really don't know.
